JUSTICE FOR JAMEY DIDOMENICO
On August 16, 2021, Jamey DiDomenico, a loving father and devoted husband, was falsely accused of rape by his wife of six years, a local divorce attorney, in their home bedroom.

The turmoil began in January 2021, when Jamey discovered incriminating text messages on an iPad their four-year-old daughter had been using. The messages, from an unknown man, suggested an affair between his wife and one of her clients. Troubled, Jamey photographed the messages and confronted his wife, who denied the allegations. Days before their divorce depositions, she accused Jamey of sexual assault.
The accusation triggered a devastating chain of events. His wife obtained an order of protection, citing unfounded fears, which led to Jamey being evicted from his home with just 30 minutes to gather his belongings. Jamey and his son, Christian, were barred from returning, and he lost custody of his beloved daughter. The court ordered him to sell his home, using the proceeds to pay overwhelming child support and alimony, forcing him to move in with his parents. For over two and a half years, he was allowed only limited, supervised visitation with his daughter.
In November 2023, Jamey stood trial for the false charges. Despite 125 letters attesting to his honesty and character and the presence of over 150 supporters in court, the trial, held in the same courthouse where his ex-wife practiced law, resulted in a wrongful conviction. No evidence of violence or rape was presented—only conflicting accounts—but the judge sentenced Jamey to 10 years in prison without parole.
Now incarcerated, Jamey has lost everything: his freedom, his home, and custody of his daughter. Friends, family, and supporters are rallying to expose this miscarriage of justice and fight for his exoneration. An appeal of the conviction has been filed.
